Patient Care Tech, Resource Team, PRN, Variable 
 
We are looking for a Patient Care Tech to join our Resource Team in Albuquerque, NM.

This PRN job is located at Lovelace Shared Services: Organizational support departments for all Lovelace facilities including Coding, Finance, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, and the Resource Team.  We are dedicated to exceeding our customers’ expectations in every way

Patient Care Tech Responsibilities:

  • Under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager or RN and within the scope of training and guidelines of the hospital policies, performs basic patient care tasks, within the scope of training and guidelines of the hospital policies. 
  • Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Patient Care Tech Education and Experience Job Requirements:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Desired: Completion of a Medical Assistant, Nurse Tech, or Certified Nursing Assistant program.
  •   Must have two (2) years of experience as a PCT/CNA with inpatient care
     
  • Desired: Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current BLS
  •   Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
