Provider Relations Liasion, Full-Time, Days

  We are looking for a Provider Relations Liaison to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. 
This full-time job is located at Lovelace Shared Services: Organizational support departments for all Lovelace facilities including Coding, Finance, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, and the Resource Team.  We are dedicated to exceeding our customers’ expectations in every way
Provider Realtions Liaison Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing, improving, maintaining and coordinating relationships with community providers.

  • Promotes specific service lines and specialties to potential and existing clients, such as referring physicians, patients and others.

  •  Ensures that providers are effectively informed and educated regarding Lovelace Health System and all specialty services.

  • Collaborates with LHS departments, other operating departments regarding services, activities.  Tracks activities, engagement and metrics to establish ROI. 

  •  Provides input to department directors and assists with the development and implementation of provider relation goals for the assigned facility.

  • Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

  Provider Realtions Liaison Education and Experience Job Requirements:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study. Relevant experience may be substituted for education in accordance to policy.

  • Professional sales or account management experience.  Knowledge of the health care environment and current economic trends and challenges for health care systems.

  • Must be able to quickly understand the scope and types of services that the organization provides. Skills in gathering and analyzing data, research and preparing reports, and presenting well thought out recommendations and justifications.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Must possess excellent public relations skills.

  •  Flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and various details of the position.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Four (4) years business development, physician relations or professional sales /account management experience - preferably in healthcare or related industry.
